Chapter 6
The officer was already shaken by the sheer absurdity of the whole thing, and when Tricia made that accusation, he snapped, “You’re accusing an officer of corruption without a shred of evidence. That’s a crime. I can arrest you right now.”
“This is about my innocence,” Tricia insisted. “I demand we go to another facility for testing, and I want the results made
public!”
“No problem.”
She smirked triumphantly and glanced back at me with a cold sneer.
“Simone, guess your little pawn has some backbone after all. He’s still putting up a fight. How pathetic.
“I’ll give you one last chance. Confess you paid him off, and I’ll drop the charges against him. If not, don’t blame me for what happens next.”
Luke puffed up beside her, emboldened.
“Exactly! If you’re gonna lie, at least make it believable. Saying the baby’s my dad’s is just sick. My mom’s been gone for years, and my dad hasn’t even touched another woman since. That lie is disgusting.”
Behind him, Harry suddenly started choking and coughing violently.
But no one paid attention. Everyone was too focused on the drama around Tricia, except me.
I turned to look at Harry’s twisted, awkward expression and couldn’t help but laugh out loud. “You said he hasn’t touched another woman? Oh my god, this is gold…”
Jayden looked at me, confused. “What’s so funny, honey?”
Luke shot me a glare, clearly pissed.
“Simone, have you lost your mind just because we mentioned doing another DNA test? My dad’s been loyal to my mom years. What the hell is so funny about that?” he said.

I finally caught my breath from laughing and calmly pulled some photos out of my bag, evidence a private investigator had given me.
After I realized what Tricia and Luke were plotting, I immediately hired someone to look into them.
And what he found was more shocking than anyone could think of.
“Here. These should be solid proof of just how ‘faithful
your dad really is,” I said.
Luke smatched the photos with scowl, tipping through them on

Finally, he turned to Harry with his jaw clenched. “Dad, what the hell is this? How are you with all these women? You told me you only ever loved Mom!”
Harry hadn’t expected this skeleton to come flying out of the closet right now. His face turned beet red as he stammered, ” Luke, t–this has to be f–fake! I’ve never seen those women before, I swear! don’t know them!”
He lunged forward to snatch the photos and tore them up, then turned

a vicious glare.
“You wicked woman! You first faked a test result to frame my daughter–in–law, and now, you’re using these photos to drive a wedge between me and my son. You bitch!”
“Oh, we’ll see how much of a wedge this really is.” I smiled at Luke and Harry before turning to the officer and raising a hand.
“Officer, I’d like to report a crime. Harry is suspected of soliciting prostitution. I’ve provided the full set of evidence. Please

arrest him immediately.”
I tossed over the rest of the documents.
The officer who’d brought me in frowned, picked up the files, and scanned through them. His face fell instantly, and he turned to his team.
“Detain Harry immediately. He’s a repeat offender. The evidence is solid. Take him in!”
“This can’t be happening! There’s no way you found proof! I’ve always been careful!” Harry yelled.
He was still trying to argue, but the officers didn’t care. They slapped the cuffs on him and hauled him away without another word.
The reporters were in utter shock.
“What kind of insane twist is this? What kind of circus is the Zimmer family running?”
“The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Honestly, I’m starting to think Luke isn’t so innocent either. What if this was all a setup from the start?”
“But then, what about the baby Tricia’s carrying? Could she really have been involved with her father–in–law? That’s just…..
WOW.”
