The Contract Wife’s Final Strike 8

The Contract Wife’s Final Strike 8

Chapter

After several minutes, Daniel and Samuel still said nothing. No longer wanting to waste any second, I stood up with my bag and was about to leave

There was panic on their similar faces

It’s not like that, Andrea.Daniel pulled me. You’re my only wife and Samuel’s only mom.”

I looked at him and said sarcastically, Daniel, really? How could you lie to my face like this

And you, Samuel? Aren’t you ashamed of yourself

I didn’t remember teaching you to lie.”

Samuel parted his lips but didn’t know what to say. After Daniel told me what Marsh did, I finally connected all the dots. No wonder Marsh only asked me to see him often though he sponsored countless kids

I interrupted Daniel, Despite what Marsh did, what about you? Daniel, you think you’ve done nothing wrong? And you, Samuel

To tell you the truth, I knew for a long time that I was pregnant, but I never wanted you to know. Because I wanted to leave you as far away as possible and live with my baby peacefully. Daniel, I lost my baby because of you.”

Daniel’s face turned utterly pale. He parted his lips, wanting to say

something while I cut him off, saying sarcastically, Please. Don’t tell me she’s like a sister to you again. What kind of brothers sleep with their sisters?”

gaver

After saying this, I turned to leave, not even bothering to glance at their expressions

Stepping out, I saw my aunt and Todd waiting for me at the side of the

road

I walked toward them, my real family

Andrea, I know you don’t wanna talk about what happened before. You don’t have to. Just let us know when you’re in trouble.”

I met their concerned gazes and couldn’t help but feel a lump in my throat. Smiling, I said, Nothing I can’t handle.”

I found a job at the local hospital and started a new chapter of my life

I used to think it’d be impossible to get over the past, but as time passed by, I found myself moving on

Maybe my aunt noticed something; she started to set me up with men

After I turned her down a few times, I could no longer endure the distressed look in her eyes. I smiled helplessly and no longer resisted

It was Sunday, the day of my fifth blind date. Early in the morning, my aunt urged me to get dressed and then asked Todd to give me a ride

As I stepped into the cafe, I saw a familiar faceit was Jake Higgins, the director of the hospital

Dr. Higgins, seriously

With this face of yours, do you really need a blind date?I teased

I knew it was you when the matchmaker introduced you,he smiled, the dimples on his face standing out

I suddenly had the urge to poke his dimples, and he grabbed my hand to

help me. Suddenly, a hand that came out of nowhere clutched my wrist, and then I saw Daniel’s livid face

Surprised, I said, Daniel?”

Andrea, I know you’re still mad at me. That’s why you agreed to a blind

date.”

He looked at me deadpan and then shifted his gaze to Jake as if announcing I belonged to him

I was about to curse when Samuel behind Daniel poked his head out, and there Dana was, behind Samuel with a fake smile on her face

Andrea, we know we were wrong. I’m sorry for what happened before. Could you forgive me?she asked

I said nothing. Jake pulled my hand away from Daniel and stood in front of me, looking at Daniel. Talk to her if you want, but you don’t get to come near her.”

I said to Daniel with disgust, Why aren’t you here with your baby? How amazing. You actually chose to come here for your honeymoon?”

Dana’s face turned pale as Daniel’s eyes lit up. He said to me as if my words were a lifesaving straw, I don’t have a baby. Andrea, Dana didn’t give birth. She had a miscarriage, too. Think of it as her apology to you.”

I frowned. How come I never realized Daniel was this shameless and merciless
