Chapter 4 There Couldn’t Be More Injustice… Right?
“Wow, what a fake sisterly bond. Elsa must’ve hated Quinn in that moment.”
“Exactly. She’s always an heiress, but now she has to give up her identity just because Quinn came back.”
“Wait… are we sure about that?”
“Hold on–look at Elsa’s expression. That doesn’t look like hatred. She looks… scared.”
Quinn’s voice drifted like a breeze. “Wanna know about that janitor mom of yours?”
Elsa’s head jerked up. Her fingers clenched the banister, knuckles white.

She stared at Quinn in disbelief, emotion crashing in her eyes. “You met her? What… what did she say at the end?”
“You mean your low–class mom? Yeah, I saw her.” A smirk crept onto Quinn’s lips.
“She was holding a crumpled photo when she died.”
Quinn leaned in, the cloying scent of perfume wafting over. Elsa instinctively wrinkled her nose.
“She looked like she was suffering, so I did her a favor–I tore that photo up.”
“What did you say?!”
Elsa trembled. Her nails dug grooves into the banister as she bit her lip, staring at Quinn with bloodshot eyes.
“But…” Quinn dragged out the word with a singsong lilt. “She left you something. Want to know what it is?”
“What thing?!”
Elsa lunged forward, grabbing Quinn’s collar, her eyes red as blood.
Quinn flinched slightly, swallowing hard as she glanced at the veins popping on Elsa’s arm. Her heart thudded.
“Let me go first. Or you’ll never find out.”
Though Elsa’s whole body was tense with fury, she slowly let go.
Quinn dusted off her clothes with visible disgust.

Elsa instinctively staggered back.
The person in front of her looked like a lunatic.
Just then-
“You two still chatting? Come down for dinner.” Mandy called from the kitchen.
Elsa instinctively tried to back away.
She turned to leave without a second thought—but Quinn leaned in again, whispering coldly in her ear.
Dinner? That’s not for you”
Suddenly!
Quinn shricked, voice laced with panic. “What are you doing?!”

The judge struck the gavel again. “Upon memory verification, the charge that Elsa intentionally harmed Quinn is invalid.”
The moment the gavel fell-
Quinn collapsed to the floor like a deflated balloon.
The audience erupted, pointing and whispering.
“Didn’t expect her to be this vicious at such a young age.”
Right? So manipulative. If we didn’t have memory playback, Elsa would’ve taken the fall!”
The courtroom buzzed with chatter.
The judge banged the gavel three times.
A cold voice echoed from the bench. “Next, we will review the third charge.”
Silence fell instantly.
The judge picked up the next set of documents, tone firm and steady.
“Elsa, accused of plagiarizing Yulia’s original piece, ‘Rising Phoenix.””
The livestream’s live chat turned bright orange–the color of Yulia’s fan support.
“Yulia’s “Rising Phoenix‘ aired during the New Year’s Gala. There’s no way this one’s a misunderstanding, right?”
“I remember that competition–Elsa’s performance shocked the judges! But thinking back, it was totally copied!”
“Yeah, I watched the whole thing live. Yulia definitely went on first. Elsa probably changed hers last minute backstage.”
“I was there in person! I can confirm it!”
On the witness stand, Yulia tucked a strand of curled hair behind her ear and spoke confidently into the mic.
“Your Honor, I have a video of Elsa secretly recording my rehearsal.”
She shot a sly glance at Quinn, who returned it with a knowing smile.
“If I remember correctly, Elsa even stole my dance studio.”
Quinn was there that day too”
