Chapter 25 The Final Witness
“If Felix slipped out during that time,” a voice in the courtroom echoed, “no one would’ve noticed.”
“Who knows–maybe he was in the room getting cozy with a model.”

Quinn suddenly hurled herself toward the witness stand, her carefully styled hair now a tangled mess.
“You even plotted against Mom and Dad?! Fine! I won’t protect you anymore!”
With trembling hands, she pulled out her phone and opened her photo album–dozens of candid shots of Elsa and Lincoln filled the screen.
Taken by the private investigator she’d secretly hired to trail Elsa.
Now, it was time to put them to use.
“Everyone look! This bitch has been conspiring with Mr. Martin all along!”
In the photos, Lincoln’s hand hovered near Elsa’s waist as they stood close together, exuding an air of intimacy.
But the truth?
Elsa had stumbled that day, nearly falling–Lincoln had simply caught her in time.
Yet in Quinn’s eyes, it was the perfect “evidence.”
Elsa tilted her head and looked at Quinn’s flushed face, laughing softly. “That’s your smoking gun?”
“Just like when you framed me for stealing corporate data–you think a few blurry photos are enough to convict me?”
Peter suddenly raised his phone and shouted, “That’s not all–I’ve got more! Watch and see who she really is!”
Immediately, anonymous accounts began flooding the livestream with a video.
In it, “Elsa” sat straddling a greasy man’s lap, pouring him drinks, looking seductively into his eyes. Her face and figure were nearly identical.
The chat blew up:
“Crystal clear–this is insane.”
“No doubt. That’s her.”
“Almost fell for her little act. She’s a fraud!”
“Wait… could this be deepfaked?”
Elsa’s nails dug into her palm. She turned to the judge.
“This footage–if I’m not mistaken–was filmed during the days I was locked in the basement.”
“They forged this while I was being held captive. Crafty, isn’t it?”
Hearing her calmly call it out, the judge gestured to the bailiffs.
They contacted the club manager directly
The timestamp confirmed the video was recorded during the exact days Elsa was imprisoned.
Felix seized the moment, slamming his fist on the desk. “You see?! This proves Lincoln is behind it all! He fabricated evulence just to destroy the Moore family!”
Elsa’s voice cut through the courtroom, sharp and loud.

“Shall I remind you?” she said, eyes narrowing, “Moore Corp’s finances collapsed three months ago.”
Gasps erupted from every direction.
At last, Lincoln rose from his seat, adjusting the cuffs of his suit.
He strolled up to Elsa with a faint smile. “Ms. Moore, quite the memory you have.”

Quinn dropped to her knees, grabbing at his pant leg with teary eyes. “Mr. Martin, please… say something! Clear our name!”
Lincoln crouched down, his fingers lifting Quinn’s chin.
His voice was soft, audible only to the front row.
“When you slipped drugs into my drink… were you this clever then?”
In a blink-
He turned away and approached the memory review machine, tapping lightly on the casing.
His imposing presence made the technicians scramble back.
“I heard this thing detects lies?”
Before the judge could respond, he placed his palm firmly on the electrodes.
Memory playback initiated.
The day everything unraveled.
Inside Martin Corp’s top–floor office, Lincoln sat watching Elsa’s dance footage, chin resting on one hand.
His assistant entered in a rush. “Sir, the Moore family just sold Ms. Moore to Dawson.”
Lincoln loosened his tie and sneered. “Toss in some dirt about Dawson sabotaging the merger. Let’s see the Moores
scramble.”
“And Mr. Dawson?”
“No rush.”
The feed distorted, then faded.
Lincoln turned toward the court with a smirk. “As you can see… I’m just a law–abiding citizen.”
Peter exploded, jabbing a finger toward Elsa.
“This is all her doing! If it weren’t for her, none of this would’ve happened!”
No doubt the internet was ablaze with slander and chaos—but Elsa didn’t look,
She stared calmly at the Moore family, watching them unravel like trapped animals.
She’d never seen them this desperate before.
It was almost poetic.
She turned to the still sobbing Quinn, knuckles pale with tension.
Her voice rang through the courtroom like ice on glass.
“Don’t forget–we haven’t reviewed one last memory…”
Her eyes locked onto the girl cowering in the corner.
