Norman was taken aback by Nick’s cold response. Who wouldn’t be annoyed by a cheating wife?

Nick leaned over to me and said, “Looks like your sister’s husband needs his eyes checked. Find a doc for him.”
Nick’s words had me in stitches, while Norman was so furious that his face kept flushing and paling.
“I’m a Golden Dragon. You’d better show some respect,” Norman said, clenching his wine glass.
“Pathetic,” Nick sneered,
Despite being a Black Dragon, his words carried an irresistible authority, as if he were looking down on Norman.
