Chapter 11
Inside the office, Aliana, who had been sitting on the sofa, immediately stood up when she saw Andrian walk in. Her gaze remained calm, just like before, though in her heart she knew this was the moment she had been waiting for hours.
Before Aliana could say anything, Andrian greeted her with cold, piercing words.
“Don’t you have a job? Why are you bothering me at work?” Andrian said, looking at Aliana with a scornful glare, leaving no room for warmth.
His words hung in the air like frost, freezing the atmosphere in the room.
Nadia, who was still standing outside the door, could hear the remark clearly. She held her breath, feeling pity for Aliana, who had just been treated so coldly by her husband.
Meanwhile, Elena, who had just risen from the corner of the room, felt her body tense up, struggling to contain her reaction to Andrian’s veiled insult.
“I’m not in the mood to hear complaints from you or anyone else. So, you better leave.”
Without a trace of emotion, Adrian dismissed Aliana. Even though he knew she had waited a long time just

Yet unlike everyone else in the room, Aliana showed no emotion. Her face remained calm, her gaze unwavering. She stood tall, Andrian’s words had no effect on her at all.

“I didn’t come here to complain,” Aliana said softly but firmly. “I came to offer a deal.

down leisurely.
“I’m not interested in making any deals with you,” Andrian added mockingly. “So you’d better leave.”
Aliana didn’t react to Andrian’s mockery or rejection. She remained standing, her gaze fixed on the man.

“I have something from Zavier Corporation that could bring you substantial benefits–especially regarding your position at Titan Group, which the board of directors still questions,” Aliana said calmly, choosing each word carefully.
For the first time, Andrian’s face showed a slight change. His eyes narrowed, and his expression turned cautious. But he quickly masked his surprise behind his usual cold demeanor.
“I’m not interested,” Andrian replied firmly. “I’ve already lowered myself enough by marrying you at my late father’s request. I won’t make any more deals. That will never happen.”
His gaze sharpened, and his tone grew even colder.
“People like you and your father are just opportunists. I won’t let myself fall into your trap.”
Aliana remained composed, though Andrian’s words struck something within her. Still, she didn’t let any emotion show.
Andrian continued, his eyes filled with contempt. “And don’t get the wrong idea, Aliana. It’s not me who needs support from Zavier Corporation. On the contrary–they’re the ones who need me. Your family’s company is on the brink of collapse. If not for Titan Group, Zavier Corporation might not even exist anymore.”
Andrian’s words made Elena, standing behind Aliana, feel furious. But she dared not say anything, especially after seeing how calm Aliana remained, even while being insulted so harshly.
Andrian spoke again, emotionless. “Maybe you don’t know, since you haven’t lived with your family for a while. But both you and Alicia were just tools for the Zavier family to save themselves. They sold you off–marrying you to me–just to save the company.”
Aliana remained standing, showing no signs of emotion. But inside, Andrian’s words cut like a knife.
She knew there was truth in what he said. The Zavier family did have problems, but hearing Andrian speak of it so coldly made her feel

like a pawn in a game she never agreed to play.
Instead of letting herself be affected, Aliana took a deep breath and stepped forward.
“You can think whatever you want about my family–or me,” Aliana said, her voice steady. “But I’m no one’s tool. And I didn’t sell myself to marry you. I married you to ensure justice for someone who meant a lot to me.”
Andrian paused, not expecting that response from Aliana. Still, he maintained his cold demeanor.
“Justice for someone? What do you mean?”
Aliana stared sharply at Andrian. “Alicia’s death… I hope you don’t see it as just another suicide, like everyone else does.”
Andrian stared back, trying to understand her meaning.
“Alicia’s death? Everyone knows she committed suicide. What’s wrong with that?”
Aliana stood tall, eyes unwavering. As Andrian spoke, she carefully observed his expressions.
She tried to read him, to see if he knew more than he let on. But she saw no signs of deceit. His ignorance seemed genuine–not feigned.
“So, you truly don’t know?” Aliana asked softly, her tone laced with deep disappointment.
Aliana felt a pang in her chest at his words. But she held herself together. She knew ang

“If you’re done, you may leave,” he said coldly, then looked at Viktor. “Escort Miss Aliana out of my office.”
Aliana looked at Andrian for a moment, trying to steady her racing thoughts. She knew continuing the conversation would be pointless. But before turning away, she spoke softly.
“I’m willing to hand Zavier Corporation over to you.”
Her words shocked Andrian. For a moment, he didn’t know how to respond. But before he could

say anything, Aliana continued.
Andrian’s previously flat expression shifted slightly in surprise. But Aliana was already walking away, ending the conversation without giving him a chance to reply.
Yet Aliana’s surprises didn’t stop there. Before walking out the door, she spoke again with a casual tone.
“Oh, I also ordered lunch from your favorite restaurant. You’ve been in meetings all day without giving yourself time for something as basic as eating.”
Andrian glared at her, irritated by the comment.
“You don’t need to manage me,” he said, trying to suppress his anger.
Aliana stared back at him blankly. “How can you be a good leader if you can’t even maintain balance for yourself?”
Without waiting for a response, Aliana walked out, leaving Andrian to watch her go with a mix of anger and confusion.
Elena, who had witnessed the entire conversation, couldn’t hide her shock.
How could Miss Aliana speak to Mr. Andrian like that?‘ she thought. But she quickly followed Aliana out, leaving Andrian fuming.
