She was all soft skin and snowy white flesh, like a helpless little white kitten.
She knelt between Steve’s legs, pitiful and submissive, barely covered by a few torn strips of fabric
-moving in ways meant to please him.
Nelson froze.
A wave of nausea hit him so hard he bent over and vomited on the spot.
His hand gripped the doorframe, fingers tense and rigid.
His eyes, dark and vicious, locked onto the scene in front of him.
He curled his lips into a cold, venomous sneer. His voice was like ice:
“Grandfather, what exactly are you and Lila doing?”
Lila turned her head and saw Nelson.
Her face went completely pale.
She was wearing nothing but a barely–there piece of lingerie. The moment she tried to move, collapsed to the floor.
Tears filled her wide, panicked eyes.
Her voice trembled uncontrollably.
“N–Nelson… I can explain…”

She fumbled to pull her dress back on, but her shaking hands kept missing. The more she panicked, the worse it got.
Still crying, she crawled toward him on her knees.
“Nelson, please… I can explain everything.”
Steve, on the other hand, was calm–completely composed.
His cloudy eyes showed only the cold detachment of a man used to being in control.
His voice was low and authoritative.

“Nelson, there’s nothing to explain. I told you–Lila’s a good girl. If I say she is, then she is.”
Nelson’s expression turned murderous. His voice was pure frost.
“So what you’re saying is… you had to test her out first before marrying her off to me?”
Lila collapsed to the floor, sobbing as she clung to Nelson’s leg.
“Nelson, I… I was forced. I did it for you. Your cousin has always been after your position as CEO. Steve said if I served him, the Voss Group would eventually be yours.”
Nelson’s face turned cold and cruel. He kicked her away, hard.
His voice was sharp and frigid.
“My cousin? That worthless idiot? You think he can compare to me? And you think I needed you to sell yourself on my behalf?”
At that moment, Nelson didn’t believe a single word she said.
He had already investigated everything. It was all a setup. Steve and Lila had planned it from the start. Her blood type couldn’t even be used for a transfusion.
Steve’s expression darkened. His tone was calm but laced with contempt.
“Nelson, it’s just a woman. Lila’s been mine for years. Just a plaything. If you want her, she’s yours. If you don’t, she’ll stay here like her mother. A servant in this house.”
Lila screamed in panic.
“No! I want to be with Nelson. Nelson, I love you. Steve raped me. He forced himself on me when I was nineteen.”
Nelson stared at Steve, eyes like ice.
“Who was it that insisted I marry Lila? Who made me drug Jessie so she couldn’t have children? Was it you, or was it her?”
He pointed straight at Lila.
She froze in terror, turning toward Steve, silently pleading for him to speak up.
But Steve only sneered.

“I never liked that Hale girl. But I wasn’t the one who went that far. Lila was pregnant. I wanted that
child. So I agreed.”
Lila snapped, shouting with rage.
“You old bastard. You swore you’d never tell Nelson.”
She hadn’t been sent abroad all those years. She’d been locked away in one of Steve’s villas on the
outskirts, raped by him again and again like some twisted possession.
Nelson stared down at her, eyes filled with hate.
“Grandfather, I’m not letting this go.”
Lila gripped the hem of his suit pants, shaking.
“Nelson, I love you. I really love you. These years, I’ve been madly in love with you. Everything I
did… it was all for you.”
Nelson kicked Lila again, this time without hesitation.
She doubled over as blood spilled from her mouth.
He turned his cold gaze toward Steve.
“Grandfather, I’ll deal with you later.”
Then he dragged Lila away.
She was barely clothed as Nelson pulled her out of the Voss family.
The maids and bodyguards saw everything.
That carefully guarded secret didn’t stay hidden for long.
It wasn’t long before a greedy housemaid sold the story to a reporter.
Soon, a photo of Lila–exposed and humiliated–took over the front page.
No one knew the full story yet.
The headline was simple, in bold print:
