Agustin’s lips curved faintly as he tucked Jaelynn’s business card into his wallet with deliberate care before stepping into the car.
After wrapping up his meeting, Javon picked up the internal line to the secretarial department.
“Bring me a cup of coffee.”
A few minutes later, Shayla walked in, dressed in a fitted skirt suit. She bent slightly as she approached.

She feigned a stumble, and the coffee sloshed forward.
Javon quickly swept a stack of files out of the way, his expression darkening.
“Shay, being pretty is fine, but as my secretary, competence comes first. Don’t make rookie mistakes like this.”
He couldn’t help thinking. Jaelynn had always handled everything perfectly. She never made blunders like that.
