Jaelynn sipped her coffee in silence.
She could tell that Renata had not yet gotten to the main point.

Renata continued with a sigh, “You know it wasn’t easy for me to bring Javon back to the Bradford family. He’s not young anymore, and the elders at home are urging him to get married. They want to arrange blind dates for him with heiresses from suitable families.”

Ignoring Renata’s darkened expression, she stood up and left.
Javon stayed in the hospital for two days before returning home to recuperate.
This time, without Jaelynn by his side to care for him, his injuries healed very slowly,
“Javon, don’t go to the company. You need to rest and take care of your health.”
Renata came personally to look after him.
Javon said nothing, resting with his eyes dosed.
The housekeeper was preparing dinner in the kitchen.

Renata’s words were laced with implication.
Javon looked at all the traces of Jaelynn’s life in the house, his eyes darkening.
“Jael will come back.”
Jaelynn had sent him back to the hospital because she was worried about his injuries.
Besides, there was no man by her side better than him.
She would definitely choose him again!
Javon was confident in himself.
