In that instant, it was as if Silas had finally woken up. He stared with icy eyes at the woman who had destroyed his home.
Rebecca also froze, pointing a trembling finger at Silas.

After a long pause, Rebecca suddenly became calm.
“Silas Duncan, since you’re going to be so heartless, then there’s no need for me to play nice either. Give me fifty million, or I’ll report your private patent development for Starlight Industries to the National Research Institute. And then I’ll accuse you of raping me,
Şilas paused, then slowly stood up.
“Rebecca Brown, you are truly vicious. When did I ever rape you?“]
Rebecca burst out laughing, tears streaming down her face.
“What do you mean, when? I’m pregnant with your child. That’s all the proof I need.”
Silas lunged forward and grabbed Rebecca by the throat.
“You’re lying! It was those animals who raped you! You’re carrying their child”
Rebecca was still smiling:
“Silas Duncan, if I told you that everything was a lie, would you slap yourself to death?“||
“A plane full of people, and they only kidnapped me. How do you explain that?”
Silas froze, his hand slowly loosening its grip. He had taken five million dollars and flown through the night to rescue a venomous snake.]
He asked, refusing to give up hope.

“And you’re so sure I’ll agree? You’re not afraid I’ll just burn everything to the ground?”

“Silas Duncan, you won’t. Because I know you. In other words, we’re the same kind of people.”
“Same humble beginnings, same ruthless ambition to climb to the top. You’re not willing to give up the fame and money you’ve earned. Your mistake, Silas, was rejecting Mr. Davis and giving the patent to Starlight instead. Did you really think he would just let that go?”
Silas completely broke down, grabbing his hair and crouching on the floor, roaring in despair.]
