Chapter 5
My assistant had already found me a place to stay.]
On the drive over, my phone kept buzzing non–stop.
Messages from Luke.
I didn’t even look–just blocked his ass.[]
Then parents started tagging me in the class group chat.]
[Connor’s mom, is everything you said actually true?]]
[Every single word. If I’m lying, I hope I rot in hell]
After that, I dumped all the photos and videos from my phone straight into the class group chat.[]
And tagged Rachel Warren while I was at it.
[Congratulations Ms. Warren on your promotion to wife! This man’s all yours now. Hope you enjoy my leftovers. Wishing you both eternal happiness–please stay locked together forever and stop destroying other people’s lives.]
I figured with Rachel Warren’s attitude, she’d at least fire back with some nasty comments.
But she didn’t say shit.
Just left the group chat.
The parents were already organizing, determined not to let this unprofessional homewrecker stay in her position.
[Someone call the principal NOW–we need a new homeroom teacher!]]
[This woman has no business being around our kids! We need to band together and get her fired]
Every parent was absolutely furious.
Scared shitless they’d end up like me.
Three days later, I got great news from the parent group]
Over twenty parents–marched into the principal’s office together.
They demanded the school deal with Rachel Warren.[]
Her misconduct was undeniable.
The school fired her ass.
Her scandal spread like wildfire.
After getting canned from this school, no other school would touch her with a ten–foot pole
The afternoon she got fired, I received a text from an unknown number.
[You old bitch! Are you trying to destroy my life?]]
[You couldn’t keep your own husband happy–that’s YOUR failure! Dried–up old hags like you deserve to be dumped!]
I didn’t bother replying.
Instead, I screenshotted the texts and posted them online.
The title: [After husband’s affair, homewrecker sends threatening messages]
[Should women over 30 have to put up with this kind of abuse?]
The post went absolutely viral]]
The internet was even more pissed off than I was
They doxxed Rachel Warren immediately.[]
Her personal info, family background, social media accounts–everything got exposed.
Overnight, she became the internet’s most hated villain.]
And honestly? I had to thank her for all that free publicity.
My new book had just launched.[]
Thanks to this shitstorm, way more people knew who I was now.
She’d basically given me a free marketing campaign.
I accepted an invitation for a livestream interview.
Partly to promote my book, partly to keep the heat on that homewrecking bitch Rachel Warren.]
During the stream, I tearfully told my story.
Most of the comments were supportive.]]
But a few were suspicious:]
Why is it always the woman who gets hurt? Your husband cheated–why aren’t you going after HIM?]]
[Don’t tell me you’re waiting for this to blow over so you can go back to being the perfect little wifell
This world hates women so much–men fuck up and no one cares, but women get crucified!]]
I could tell immediately these were bots Rachel Warren had hired.]
Same talking points, not even cleverly disguised.]]
“Let me address some of the doubts in the chat.
“How do you know I didn’t deal with my ex–husband?”
“That party where I exposed his affair? That WAS his punishment.“]
“His friends, family, colleagues, bosses–they were all there. His workplace doesn’t tolerate that kind of misconduct.”
“From what I hear, they’ve already shut down his research project. HR definitely had a chat with him about stepping down.”
“I hope every woman finds the courage to start over, and I hope we can all support each other.“]
After my response, the suspicious comments finally stopped.]
When the stream ended, I donated every penny I’d earned to a domestic violence prevention organization.
That shut up all the trolls saying I was just trying to make money off my situation.]
