Ethan looked as if he had been struck by lightning. “Boyfriend? Have you already agreed to be with him? Why can’t you give me another chance? I know it was wrong of me to be with Sylvia back then, but I’ve realized my mistake.”
I couldn’t help but laugh at Ethan’s words. “Is it really as simple as you claim? Just being with Sylvia at the same time?”
Ethan avoided my gaze, stumbling over his words. Then, in a fit of rage, he kicked one of his underlings.
“You guys acted on your own! Apologize now!”
