“Kael, you have to trust me. This cub is the lion clan’s, and there’s no need for the ritual!”
Even at the last moment, Arya desperately tried to sway Kael. But he didn’t even glance at her. He had never felt SO
humiliated.
As he looked around at the crowd of beastfolk craning their necks to watch the spectacle, he wanted nothing
crush her with his bare hands.
“Let’s begin.” He coldly nodded at the Chieftain, who commenced the bloodline ascertainment ritual.
When the results came in, gasps rippled through the crowd.
