“No! That’s impossible! You’re all lying to me!” Bradley’s eyes were red as he yelled at Terrence. There was a look of incredulity on his face.
“You’re lying because you want to force me to marry her! Am I right?”
After seeing how Bradley went berserk, Chad grabbed the glass on the table and flung it onto the floor.
There was a stunned silence following a loud crash.
“Bradley Garvin, get out of the house if you dare say another word.”
Bradley stopped shouting. He suppressed the anger burning inside him and sat down in his seat.
The discussion progressed quite smoothly after that. We managed to finalize most of the details for the wedding ceremony. Terrence would ask for my opinion first before agreeing to any of the details.
While I found Bradley’s piercing glare annoying, I was pretty satisfied with everything else.
Jenna, who tried several times to gain his attention but was ignored every single time, started glaring at me too.
After the family dinner was over, Terrence and I saw some of the elders off. At some point, I noticed that I had left my bag in
the dining room.
Terrence patted my head and said teasingly, “You little silly.”
Then, he walked into the house to fetch my bag. While I waited for him by the door, Bradley came rushing to me all of a sudden and grabbed my wrist.
“Julia, why are you marrying Uncle Terrence?”
I pulled my hand free and massaged my sore wrist. I asked him, “If you can marry my sister, why can’t I marry your uncle?”
The look of exasperation in his eyes changed into one of scorn.
Ha! In the end, you’re just jealous because I’ve married Jenna.”
I chuckled after hearing those words. “Bradley, I’ll say it once more. I don’t love you anymore. The person I’m marrying is your uncle.”
Bradley grabbed my shoulders. I could feel his grip tightening. “That’s impossible! You love me deeply! In our last life, you…”
There was an abrupt pause. Then, Bradley sighed with resignation and said in a sincere tone.

“You can decide on every detail of the wedding ceremony. You can do it however you prefer. After the wedding, I won’t let
Jenna move into our house. You don’t have to stay in the guest room. You can stay with me in the master bedroom.
“Julia, can you please stop doing this?”
