I looked at Lucy as she sat on the couch, glaring at me, clearly lost in her own thoughts, furious about what happened between us.
“You being angry is not going to change the fact…”
“That you cheated on me with an Omega? Let me know, Dominic, would you be as calm as you expect me to be had I been the one to
sleep with another man? Or are you far too important for me to even consider doing so in your presence? In your mind, am I not
capable of cheating just as much as you are? Or is that something that you as a man consider out of the question simply because you
believe yourself to be Alpha?” She asked, shaking her head in question as a small smile formed on her lips.
“I slept with an Omega, a low rank, much like any other Alpha would fuck a concubine.”
“And yet, that consort not only got pregnant, but also gave you your first heir. Not only are you fucked up enough to call her a
concubine, and expect me to simply allow it because you suddenly have the need to find yourself sleeping with others under titles that
do not exist within our pack, but you also want to console yourself with something that is not even
pal? You want to believe a lie that
you are creating for yourself, a lie that others are going to look down on…”
“It is only a lie if you claim it is so.”
“Your father will have your head before you can call her a concubine.” She said, scoffing as she looked away from me. “I don’t think that
you are going to want to look at her as so to begin with. You know for fact that it is not like the other pack members around here, and I
am not going to call her a she, in my eyes, she is nothing more than an it.”
“An it?” I asked, and she raised an eyebrow at me.
“Yes, does it bother you for me not to consider her being a person? In my eyes she is nothing but a low rank, and I am not required to
see her as anything more than she is.” He said, and I let out a low, warning growl as I looked her dead in the eye.
“Do not cross your limit that way again, do you understand me?” I said, glaring at her. She looked away from me for a moment, and I
wrapped my hand around her chin, forcing her eyes on mine. “I asked a question.”
“Why did you bring me here if she means this much to you?” She asked, shaking her head in question and I shook my head at her. Her
eyes were fixed on mine for a moment too long before I let her step back from me, knowing that I was going to end up harming her
more than I should if she proceeded to keep playing this game. It was a game that I did not want to be dealing with, and it was going
to be one that I knew she was going to force me to take hand in.
“You are going to end up regretting playing this game. And soon enough, you are going to come looking for me. But I will have to
assure you, on that very day, I am not going to be there by your side. Do you want to know why? Because you had everything, and you
chose to let it go as if it was nothing. And I believe that when a person does that, no matter the reason, they chose their own fate on
their own.” She said, stepping back. “That Omega is going to end up making you weak…*
“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?”
“Away from a place where I know that I am not wanted. I know that you want her, and I do not intend to stand in your way. But what I

late for that.” She said, and I scoffed.
“I gave you a second chance to stand by my side, and here you are, thinking that you can just easily push me away and get away with
it?” She asked, and I shook my head.
“If you think that I have to think about doing something when you are very wrong, I’m going to push you away and I’m not going to want
to be by your side. I gave you a chance to come back. I gave you a chance to be angry, but to get back from your decision, to be smart. It seems to me that you are not. It seems to me that you’re letting your anger cloud your vision and your decisions.” I said, watching as she rolled her eyes before she took a step towards me.
Her eyes were harder than I had seen them in a very long time, and I knew that she was raging. However, I also knew that this was not a game for her to play, not against me.
