“I object!” Elsa stood abruptly, her voice ringing clear and sharp. “That dance was choreographed by me. It wasn’t plagiarism.”
The judge turned slightly and signaled the bailiff. “Defendant, please focus on the time of the incident.”
In an instant-
Ripples shimmered across the massive screen.
It was late at night. The dance studio shone brightly under the lights. Elsa was practicing alone in front of the mirror.
“Five, six, seven, eight… okay, turn…
She murmured the counts under her breath. Her dance shoes were heavily worn at the toes.
But she didn’t seem to notice. She remained wholly absorbed in the routine.
At some point, two figures appeared in the reflection.
Yulia leaned leisurely against the doorway, arms crossed, voice far from friendly.
“Elsa, this time slot is mine.”
Startled, Elsa hurried to pause the music.
She stood frozen, unsure what to say. After a beat, she finally spoke, “But I signed up for this time. It’s on the schedule.”
She bit her lip. She was asserting her right, but for some reason, her chest felt tight.
“It’s been changed,” Yulia said coolly.
“What do you mean?”
Yulia raised an eyebrow, amused. “Quinn didn’t tell you? I went to the principal. He agreed to make this a private rehearsal space.”
She wiggled her phone. On the screen was a selfie of her and Quinn, arms linked with Mandy. The location showed: principal’s office.
In the livestream, audience reactions started to shift.
“Isn’t that an abuse of privilege?”
“Please She’s the Moore family’s golden girl’s bestie. It’s just a dance room.”
“Right? If you want one too, go get your own special access.”
With no choice, Elsa began packing up her bag.
In her distraction, she forgot the digital camera tucked away in the corner.
The memory fast–forwarded to the dance competition, two weeks later,
Backstage. Elsa adjusted her headpiece in the dressing mirror
Yulia was performing Rising Phoenix on stage as the opener. The music drifted backstage, and Elsa froze.
That was the track she’d choreographed for the past two months. How was it being used in Yulia’s routine?
Elsa couldn’t even recall how she got through the rest of the performance.
The host’s voice rang out. Next up: Elsa performing Metamorphosis”
Gasps rippled through the venue.

As the music started, the judges leaned in, whispering.
“Isn’t this the same music Yulia used?”

“Could just be similar. The choreography might be different…”

But as the performance unfolded, it became clear–Elsa’s choreography overlapped with Yulia’s by nearly eighty percent.
Outside the memory. Yulia slammed the table.
“Fake! That video is totally fake!”
At that moment-
The judge brought up the school’s system records. “According to the reservation logs, the studio from 8 to 10 p.m. that night was indeed booked under Elsa’s name.”
“So what?!”
Yulia’s voice pierced the courtroom.
A new video began playing on the screen.
It was surveillance footage from the school. Late at night, someone entered the empty studio and removed the memory card from a camera.
Offscreen. Quinn’s voice could be heard laughing. “Hurry up, stop showing off.
Yulia’s normally perfect hair was a mess–nothing like her polished appearance.
“I didn’t do that! It’s AI face–swapping!” she shouted.
But the prosecution was ready.
As soon as Yulia objected, two spectrograms appeared midair.
An expert stepped up to the microphone. “After analysis, the voiceprint in the video matches Ms. Yulia’s with 99.8% certainty.”
This confirms the footage is authentic.”
“No! That’s not me!”
Yulia was on the verge of a breakdown. Court officers rushed to restrain her.
The judge slammed the gavel.
“Silence in court. Any further outbursts will be treated as obstruction of justice.”
At the same time, the livestream chat exploded.
“So much for Yulia being some Spring Festival Gala–level star. Guess all her talent was stolen.”
“Kick her out! She doesn’t deserve the stage!”
“Apologize You fooled us for so long!”
“Okay yeah, I admit–1 went too hard on Elsa just now.”
Bang
The gavel dropped again. The courtroom fell silent
Everyone thought the trial was over
But suddenly, the Moore family’s lawyer. Mr Mason, stood and raised a folder.

“Elsa is accused of repeatedly stealing Quinn’s personal property, including a blue diamond necklace worth over a million.”
The chat exploded again.
“You’ve got to be kidding me! Again?!”
“Now they’re just throwing mud.”
“They won’t stop until they’ve destroyed Elsa!”
“The Moore family are leeches. This is disgusting.”
A flicker of confusion passed over Elsa’s face.
“I didn’t…”
Peter scoffed at her pale expression. “Still pretending? You got caught red–handed stealing Quinn’s necklace.”
“You begged us not to call the cops. Already forgot?”
“Objection!”
The defense attorney shot to his feet.
His gaze locked on Peter, voice ringing out firm and clear. “Mr. Peter, the courtroom is not your personal stage for petty vengeance.”
outh me
The judge raised a hand to signal silence and turned to Elsa.
“If you continue the memory trial, your body may not withstand the strain…”
He paused, looking at her with concern.
“Do you consent to proceed?”
Elsa closed her eyes. A single tear slid down her cheek. She took a long, deep breath.
“…I do.”
The screen came alive once more.
The memory opened at a celebration banquet,
The Moore family’s villa glowed with luxury. Quinn wore a haute couture gown, her neck adorned with a dazzling blue diamond necklace.
She strolled over, champagne in hand. Elsa sat curled in the corner, silent and withdrawn.
“Why are you hiding, Elsa?” Quinn’s hand rose to her necklace.
She flaunted the gift in front of Elsa,
Elsa’s fingers tightened around her dress. Head lowered, she said nothing.
Then Quinn raised her voice.
Oh, I heard you got first in the class again? That’s too bad..”
She leaned close to Elsa’s ear.
“I only ranked tenth, and I got an entire blue diamond set. You? No matter how well you score….“

Elsa suddenly looked up, locking eyes with Quinn’s smug, mocking gaze.
Her eyes burned with fury.

Quinn watched her stumbling retreat with slow satisfaction, patting down her skirt with care. “What, you’re done already? The real show’s just getting started…”
Meanwhile-
A memory from Quinn had just been extracted.
That night-
Barefoot, Quinn slipped into Elsa’s room.
She took the blue diamond necklace from her own velvet jewelry box, a faint smile on her lips, and stuffed it deep into Elsa’s drawer.
Just as she turned to leave, a sliver of light cut through the door.
“What are you doing?” Peter stood there squinting.
Quinn froze, then put on a pitiful expression. “Peter… Elsa stole my necklace… I–I just wanted to take it back quietly. Please don’t tell Mom and Dad.”
She clung to his sleeve, tears falling freely.
“If Elsa gets kicked out… I’ll only have you left.”
Peter stared at the necklace in the drawer.
He scratched his head, agitated. “If this gets out, won’t we all be in trouble?”
“Maybe… maybe we should just tell Mom and Dad?”
Quinn looked up sharply and met his eyes.
That was exactly what she was waiting for.
He hadn’t let her down.
The memory stopped there and jumped to the next day.
Bang!
Felix kicked open Elsa’s bedroom door.
She’d been reading and looked up, startled,
Before she could speak, Felix grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into the living room.
The blur diamond necklace was yanked from her drawer. Mandy’s eyes flared with rage.
She hadn’t expected it. Elsa had actually stolen something!
Mandy grabbed the nearest vase and hurled it at Elsa. “You ungrateful brat! You even dare steal from Quinn?!”
4 wasn’t me. Elsa cradled her bruised arm and shrank back, only for Peter to block her path
He glared at her coldly, voice dripping with sarcasm. “Still playing innocent? We found it in your room. What, you think you fan lie your way out of this too?”
The comments were blowing up.
